Nayar's wife on lovebirds' trail...

What is Arun Nayar''s estranged Italian model wife Valentina Pedroni doing in Mumbai while he and Liz Hurley are partying away at Devigarh Fort, celebrating Nayar''s 40th birthday?
Apparently, Pedroni has been in Mumbai for the last few days. According to insiders, she might have flown down to India to pre-empt the Hurley-Nayar wedding, about which speculation is rife.Since Nayar and Pedroni are not divorced, he can''t marry Hurley. The rumour mills, though, are abuzz with talk of Nayar''s birthday celebrations culminating in the duo''s wedding. While Pedroni has so far refused to grant divorce, Nayar has filed a divorce petition in a Mumbai court.
Meanwhile, Nayar''s weekend-long birthday celebrations at Devigarh Fort, near Udaipur, saw the duo entertaining guests from Mumbai and London. On the night of their arrival, Nayar''s brother Nikhil aka Niki and his wife Samantha hosted a pool party for the guests. Saturday night was a black-tie dinner hosted by Nayar and Hurley, and the last party on Sunday was at Jaigarh Palace in Udaipur.
Prior to leaving for Devigarh Fort, Nayar and Hurley hosted lunch for very close friends at the China Garden restaurant in Mumbai on Nayar''s birthday - November 3. In between, they hosted dinners at the Nayars'' home.
